Kumpas is created, designed, and developed by one person — a dancer who knows how much dedication lives behind every performance.

It began with a simple idea: give dancers a space of their own. Somewhere to show their work, keep their achievements together, and discover a wider community.

Common questions

What is Kumpas?
Kumpas is a free platform for dancers and dance groups to build a public profile, be discovered by other dancers, and keep a record of the achievements they have earned. It is open to every style and every level of experience.
Is Kumpas only for hip hop and street dance?
No. Kumpas is for every discipline — ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, ballroom and DanceSport, Latin, folk and cultural dance, cheer and majorette, and street styles like breaking, popping, locking and house. Whatever you train in, you belong in the directory.
How much does Kumpas cost?
Nothing. Creating a dancer profile, starting a dance group, and appearing in the directory are all free.
How do I create a dancer profile?
Sign up with your email, then add your name, location, dance styles, and years of experience. Your profile is public as soon as you save it, so other dancers and groups can find you.
Can I start a dance group on Kumpas?
Yes. Any member can create a group, add its founding year, location and styles, and invite dancers to the roster with a join link. Groups have their own public page alongside dancer profiles.
Do I need to be in the Philippines to join?
No. Kumpas started in the Philippines and the community is strongest there, but profiles are open to dancers and groups anywhere in the world.
